31/01/1895 - (DEATH) William Harris dies of ‘Influenza secondary to 1 month Phthisis 3 months with Haemoptysis’ at Brady’s Buildings, Montague Street, Bethnal Green London.  William’s daughter (now married to James Hodgetts) Sarah Hodgetts was present at death.  William was listed as a  ‘Foreman Malster’.
17/10/1840 - (BIRTH) William Ingram Harris born ‘near Maypole’, ‘Barkingside’ to Sarah Ann Harris.  No father stated on Birth Certificate.  Jane Harris, William’s aunt was present at the birth.

06/06/1841 - (CENSUS) 8 month old William lives with his mother Sarah Harris and grandparents Joseph and Hannah Harris in a cottage called ‘Britannia’ Barkingside - near Chequer Lane and between Whites Cottages and Lawrences Cottages.

15/03/1842 - (MARRIAGE) Jane Harris married Josiah Laver at St Leonard’s Parish Church, Shoreditch, Middlesex, London

02/11/1845 - (BIRTH) Charlotte Rebecca Moss born in Barkingside to George Moss and Mary Moss (nee  Porter).

13/01/1847 - (DEATH) Sarah Ann Harris died of ‘Phthisis Pulmonalis’ (after 7 months).  Hannah Harris her mother was present at her death.

30/05/1851 - (CENSUS)  10 year and 7 months old William lives with grandparents in Barkingside in ‘Britannia’ cottage. Charlotte Moss aged 6 lives with George and Mary Moss and brother Henry at the Maypole, Barkingside.  
07/04/1861 - (CENSUS)  20 ½ year old William (an agricultural labourer) lives with grandparents and 13 year old cousin Henry Halverson in the ‘Britannia’ cottage, near the Maypole in Barkingside.  15 year old Charlotte lives with parents and 3 other siblings near the Maypole.

15/02/1864 - (BIRTH) Charlotte Emily Harris is born to William Harris and Charlotte Moss in Barkingside, Ilford.  William is listed as a ‘Dealer in wood’.

04/05/1864 - (DEATH) Joseph Harris died of ‘age and exhaustion’ aged 79 years at the ‘Union House’ in Romford.  Lawrence Rogers was present at his death.  Joseph Harris was Grandfather to William Harris.
